Since you are the one who started this beautiful thread, I don't think I'm off-topic by trying to help you on putting images on your post.

Usually your browser and the wed site you are on will allow you to open another page just showing the picture if you right click on the picture and choose show picture on another page. On this other page you will have now the link for the picture only.

If you have a picture on your computer that you want to show in your post but is not on the web, you can upload your picture from your computer to the website that Josephine just gave : https://imgur.com/

And once your picture is uploaded on this website, you will be able to obtain the link just showing the picture in the same way.

The link to show only the picture should finish by .jpg or .gif or something like that.
