Kundalini in sanskrit means "coiled", and Shakti, is believed to be a goddess, or sometimes portrayed as a serpent, which is coiled up at the base of the spine, during kundalini awakening, Shakti uncoils all the way up the spine.

It lasts for a certain amount of time? That sort of defeats the purpose of awakening. An awakening doesn't die out, once awakened, the goal is to be always awake. Uncomfortable side effects and symptoms may cease, but the energies should be awake forever. A person will be able to easily have kundalini whenever they want, while still sticking to the balance of all chakras. This is why it's probably important to learn to control the kundalini.

"The goal of Tantra is to have the kundalini remain permanently elevated to the topmost psychoenergetic center, which state coincides with liberation. At the beginning, however, the kundalini will tend to return to the cakra at the base of the spine, because the body-mind is not yet adequately prepared. Therefore the practitioner must repeatedly invite the Goddess power to unite with her divine spouse, Shiva, at the top of Mount Kailasa, that is, in the sahasrara-cakra. This will gradually remove the karmic inclination toward identifying with the body-mind rather than Shiva-Shakti as one's ultimate identity. In Kashmiri Tantra, this ever-blissful transcendental identity is called aham ("I") versus the finite ego (ahamkara, "I-maker"), which is driven by the desire to maximize pleasure and minimize pain and yet continuously sows the seeds of suffering."

And once one is truly awakened Fully from Kundalini, they reach the climax of cosmic life. The stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi, their whole life is changed, and they have a permanent enlightenment, permanent communication, with their higher power, it is said, in the last 150 years of history only two have actually achieved this full awakening. They were Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana. Both these gentlemen awakened their Kundalini in their lifetime and gained enlightenment and finally salvation, thus they do not have to be reincarnated ever again.
It's not like Kundalini just stops, and by the time it does, you are most likely dead and reunited with the divine.

I believe you can make that three, or even four.

I do not exactly know how to approach this, because, my story is quite long. It is also quite bizarre, and, involves a lifetime of events leading up to my awakening, which began a journey that has spanned the past 11 years. It involves a lot of prophesy, and is revealed through my various names, lineage, location, numbers, and through everyone connected to me throughout my family, my spousal connections, and involves information that I have never as of yet disclosed.

I stopped to read a bit about Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, and his experiences mimic mine almost to the letter. I am familiar with Swami Vivekananda, and have always known his teachings to be quite accurate, not knowing the connection between the two.

The difference is the fact that I have received 'thought transmissions' since I can remember, which is about age 10. I have always known that Biblical prophesy was somehow connected to me, and, it was incumbent on me to understand and figure out the whole Jesus mess.

I remember vividly when the messages started that would say, "Steve, the end is near, you'd better get started". I also knew that the year 2000 was going to be a year that something was going to happen, and, I was so afraid I would cry myself to sleep just thinking about it. This was 1970, and I was afraid that if I did not figure things out, that I was going to die, and burn in hell for eternity! I had recurring dreams, four of them that occurred almost nightly, and, would wake me up in sweats.

Let me just end here saying that I did not have a pleasant childhood, and, found the way to stop things through drugs and alcohol at an early age.

I want to share my story, but, I have a lot to tell. Would it be advisable to begin a new thread? I have valid evidence that links me to prophesy, but, I do not have any desire to 'exalt' myself, because, I do not for one second believe that I am anybody 'special'. We are all One, and I exist in all of you, as you do me. We are all connected to the very same Divine Principle of Spirit that goes by many names, but, is unnameable. It is an all-encompassing Cosmic awareness that I simply refer to as Logos, and the Mother/Father of the All, Providence if you will. Ramakrishna referred to it as "God-realization", and that is exactly what is; although I was informed that They were not crazy about the Word God, because, there are just too many names, and, if I wished to call Them anything, just call Them Mom and Dad. The Divine unification of Spirit, Truth/Wisdom.

The Kundalini process can be referred to as many things, and, I steer clear of names, because, I was informed from when She first awakened in me that She could be called a myriad of names, but, I would know eventually who She was. I did as it applies to every religion, but, I also had to know as it applied to prophesy. And, it just happens to be my Mother and Daughter's name.

Madeline, french for Magdalene.

Madeline Lucille Eden - Magdalene, the towering Light of Eden

I would like to continue. If anyone has a suggestion on how to go about it, I would appreciate it. I believe this to be the site I have been seeking to begin to tell my story. I have the feeling it is, so, I hope I am right.

peace
