Everyone attains Moksha in the end, because their essence is pure consciousness and divinity.
Some attain it much faster through intelligence and good work ethics , while some attain it after many lifetimes and after intense suffering.
Eckhart Tolle is one who attained enlightenment after a long period of depression and suffering.
