i think it would be impossible to enjoy music unless we were somehow in a "slice" of time. to enjoy a melody we have to be aware of what happened, what is now, and what is coming in a song. so i don't think "now" is no time. now seems to be a few minutes to me. we exist in a two minute slice or something like that.
