These words from the Book of Deuteronomy (Sefer Devarim) pretty much sum up the scope of Judaism – and are familiar to many who participated in civil rights issues over the generations.

I'm currently reading Justice for All: How the Jewish Bible Revolutionized Ethics, by Jeremiah Unterman, and it's giving me a new and greater appreciation of these sacred scriptures.

What does justice mean to you? Is seeking justice for others a part of your own spiritual journey?
