arkamaya... You're more likely to be able to notice when a chakra is not active, because that is not its normal state. You can observe which chakras feel tight or blocked or seem dark or dense to you.
You could do a chakra meditation practice to open, clear and balance all your chakras. You could find a good one on the internet, written out or on CD.
