My current doc is an osteopath. A darling little old man who wears burkenstocks with socks all year round -- even in winter. With him, I finally found someone who treats my hypothyroidism properly and is knowledgeable in alternatives like supplements and herbs and uses them complimentary (with allopathic medicine). I just love him! I travel an hour each way twice a year to see him. He's in his seventies and only works part time. I don't know what I'm going to do when he finally retires. I hope I can find someone equally as good when I need to.
