I've been gripped by the "Curse of Oak Island" programmes about treasure hunters looking for the Ark and other treasures at Oak Island in Nova Scotia. The theory is that the Ark was hidden in caves beneath the Temple Mount before the Romans destroyed the Temple in AD 70. Then the Templars discovered it again and it became part of their treasures until they were being persecuted and was sent to Oak Island where it was buried in a booby-trapped pit. Is it true? There's a lot of ifs and buts in the story but a fascinating watch anyway.
