If I recall correctly, what I remember most about the Temple of Dawn was the steep steps ... as if they were meant for giants.

One of my favorite Buddhist pilgrimage sights is Sarnath, which is where Buddha gave his first sermon in Deer Park and was NOT commercialized when I visited.
