That's the thing, people have different ideas of what Nirvana means, only Buddha knew exactly what he was referring to.
I agree, they all understand that Nirvana frees one from the fires of the fleshly body.
I too disagree with Stephen Wolinsky, his interpretations is no different from what an atheist would say.
