Mahatma Gandhi, harbinger of peace
When slapped, turned the other cheek
Novel way perhaps, seeking to appease
Then there are wars, not for the weak
Butterfly effect causation of fierce storms
Let us be mindful of the words we speak
We trample on toes and expect open arms
Be wary, oh weary hermit, of energy leaks
