I agree with Traveler.....
You become a channel which Reiki flows through. It enters through your crown chakra and flows out of you to heal (your intention to the person...animal..etc). It strongly flows from my hands. I don't "create" it. You have to have the persons permission to send to them.
I view it as an amazing gift. I'm not sure why you consider it a debt. I'm trying to understand your viewpoint.
