Here is another translation of that section from Tao te ching Ch 30 :
When a thing is fully grown, it starts to age.
This is called Losing of Tao.
Losing of Tao makes the thing go to its end.
Same as the text you quoted, this talks about normal people and normal things, not Taoist Immortals or Saints.
