This thread is about reincarnation being frightening so I find it difficult to link something so very specific - but as yet unsupported - to the general picture of concern about returning for a further life or further lives......

For some, perhaps many or even most of us, there is no recall of previous lives, always assuming we have had them. I do accept however that some individuals feel sure they know about lives they've experienced. They can't prove that's the case but we can't prove it's not so such feelings are strictly personal and relevant primarily, if not exclusively, to the individual having them.

It's somewhat similar to personal confidence about survival beyond death. There's no actual proof of it although there is abundant evidence that's the case. But neither can anyone prove that survival doesn't occur. Those who are confident know within themselves and perhaps it's similar for individuals who have a similar level of confidence about their own previous lives?

The upshot of these situations is that such personal certainty may still not help reassure someone who rejects either notion. BUT those open enough may wish to consider these accounts along with those coming from others to see which ones appeal to their reason.
