Thanks Jules, yea that is what I felt while I was painting the picture, his fear of setting in that little space right at the very end of the aircraft, he told me that they had a parachute behind then but in reality it was useless, it was more of a psychological thing to make them feel that they may have some hope while the craft was spinning to the ground. His aircraft actually crashed landed breaking the plane in half, because he was in the tail he survived but the rest of the crew were killed, he has never forgotten it.
