No, name does not matter. What does matter is the relationship between parent and child. Parent should parent and not be the child's buddy. The child looks to the parent to guide them, nurture them, protect them and raise them. As long as the parent does that, whatever name the child calls parent as long as its agreeable to the parent it doesn't matter, IMO.
