some guy rather rudely pointed out that even if that is true, you could STILL measure changes in things. And the fact of being able to measure changes is of course what constitutes the definition of the measurement of time? So according to that you haven't gotten away from it but rather just run it off into the distance.
On those terms... it could be argued that the current seemingness of time that we have, while itself is an illusion, is an illusion constructed to instruct us about something we might not find so obvious in our 'natural' state where we don't have the crutch whatever that is. 5D or whatever is all the rage this week I guess...
