These South American whistles REALLY excite me.

I know them – they are on the tip of my tongue – yet I cannot explain it.
My subconscious knows them – they are there - & I know the use of them … yet I consciously I cannot articulate ….

An Aboriginal friend once asked me whether
love or
respect was more important.
I could not answer on the spot.
He reckoned
respect was more important, but now that I have had ample time to come to it, I think it is ‘PRIDE’.
I am proud as punch that the Aboriginal tribe I integrated into still holds onto
The Indigenous Ways and Values,
without any self-consciousness or being “indigenous-in-concept”.
IF you know what I mean.
I am also proud of my language and cultural relatives who have held onto their Nature values:

Since my gran’s forefather was either Yakut/Evenk or Dolgan (kinda the same thing) and Yakuts use the Jew’s harp ….
Must say - I have NO subconscious recognition –
whatsoever - about this instrument.

“The Death Whistle” pranks are not good on bushwalkers – especially if one doesn’t own up to it, but I can understand the temptation for the pranks:
