Sorry for neglecting all of you. Day before Thanksgiving and lots to do.
I thought a lot of the subject of fear since I wrote the op. I think fear is healthy and I don't think we can avoid it entirely.
Fear of drowning when I'm much further from shore than I thought.
Fear of having a car accident keeps me alert
Fear of falling down helps me pay attention
Fear of being alone prompts me to be nice to my friends and show appreciation to them
I think we all have similar fears (the survival kind), but we also have different fears (the abstract ones).
I don't think I can define your fears. Those are yours and mine are mine.
I did think it was interesting in the op, the part about having a fear of death implanted was interesting. It helps me understand why so many are afraid of death and avoid it at all costs.

Dan isn't it true we are living in a dualistic reality? So fear and love reign equally. You speak of darkness. Without darkness you can't appreciate the light. Yes, we all have our own fears.
