An interesting thought. The person is considered to be dead and thus there is no need for anaesthesia when removing organs, but that does not mean they have actually left the body and so feel no pain.

Do we get entangled with the organ recipient? If we donate a kidney then that kidney still has our aura which will mix with the aura of the recipient. So we might expect some level of entanglement.

And there is plenty of anecdotal evidence that the recipient of an organ can acquire the tendencies, interests and even memories of the donor. I recall reading about a young woman who had a heart transplant and then took up carpentry, having never had any previous interest in it. Later she met the parents of the donor and found that he had had a passion for woodworking.

Hmmm.
