I've got quite an eclectic collection of books, from classics like 'Ulysses' and 'Anna Karenina' to a couple of Bill Bryson's books to modern fiction like 'Fight Club' to spiritual texts by people like Adyashanti and Ramana Maharshi. Was quite partial to D
ickens' novels but I think I've donated them all to charity or just mislaid them, unfortunately.
One of the most interesting books I own is a novel called '1Q84' by Haruki Murakami, which was recommended to me by a member of this forum several years back and is apparently about two twin flames who somehow end up in an alternate reality (known as 1Q84, hence the title - it begins in 1984, I don't know what the Q is supposed to stand for) in which there are two moons in the sky. Their stories are interwoven but told completely separately for the most part (they only actually meet near the end). It's a complete doorstop of a novel, but I loved it and recommend it highly.
