As far as I know or even might guess, He prefers indirect contact (more polite, when medium contact is needed for a high profile or busy Spirit). For Jesus, Prayer is best (you might be surprised as far as the results go).
If needed, as far as medium contact goes, contact via a Spirit (you are familiar with) lower down on the Status chain, and communicate indirectly. You'll know if you are thinking "He said" and "She said", instead of "I" and "You", and getting replies in a similar fashion. It's much like sitting in a room with someone speaking to another person on your behalf on a cellphone.
