Similarly with your dream-reality, where to make the most of your dream-experience you need to become lucid and aware of your physically-awake self, in your physical-reality you need to become lucid and aware of your inner-self.

Whatever your participation and deeds in the physical-reality, that is as relevant as your participation and deeds in your dream-reality.
