NASA's scientists believe that the Moon was born when a wandering planet crashed into the young earth about 4 billion years ago. Huge amount of material were thrown into space eventually coming together to form the circular Moon.
Does That mean every satellite on the other planets, say Jupiter or Saturn have formed by crashing of other planets ? Obviously NO. Such speculated theories lack coherence.

Our Solar System had originated from a Silicon Burning Nuclei ejected from the Center of Milky-way Galaxy some 15 billion years ago.
The composition of Rock Sample from Moon brought by NASA is much like the earth verifying formation of moon and earth from same materiel as envisaged in the Astro Relativity theory. Moon is slightly older than the Earth (age 13.9 billion years) due to its early condensation. So the origin of Moon does not remain a mystery now.
