The actuality is that we don't know who is technically proficient about commercial servers and in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king.
. It's an academic point anyway as it's nobody's business but that of the owner/operator.
The website staff here aren't required, and shouldn't be expected, to heed apparent knowledge on the subject; their role is that of administration of the forum pages, things they do well.
The running of the website and the payment for the web hosting is down to whomever pays the bills and it's her/his sole responsibility unless it has been given over to, or shared with, someone else. Either way it's not the business of us ordinary members.
