For those considering including wheat grass into your diet, here's an anecdotal experience for you to consider.

A friend of mine was working at a job site and next door was one of those juice places. Three or four days in a row, he had a wheat juice beverage as he'd heard it was good for you. The first day he felt fantastic, the second day also, the third was good, but on the fourth day, within a half hour, he felt incredibly sick. Almost like food poisoning. Nothing different in his normal routine except the wheat grass. He spent the next few hours in bed and being very ill. And over the course of the next few days he started having symptoms of swollen eyes, constantly running nose, sinus congestion, etc. That was the beginning of horrible allergies that affect him every spring and summer. He'd never suffered from allergies before the wheat grass juice. His doctor surmises that the sudden intake of whatever is in wheat greens overwhelmed his immune system and set up a reaction that continues to affect him years later.

Seems to me that the adage of 'everything in moderation' might be particularly applicable with something like wheat grass. Be careful.
