It is unethical. To slaughter animals, keep them in the most inhumane conditions. Force feed them. Give them ****.

Especially when humans don't need to eat animals, and especially as many as we all do. Even medical doctors, scientists and Governments extol the virtues of less meat, encouraging people to gradually reduce their intake because it is such a long ingrained habit.

A long ingrained habit though does not mean it is "natural". At one point, people committed incest, they raped women and pillaged villages. There is nothing natural about harm. And the point of evolution and progress is to see that and live it.

Most of the arguments from certain posters are not only disrespectful, they are preposterous, gaslighting and propaganda ("anything that doesn't agree with me is a lie and any authority which doesn't agree with me has an agenda and is driven by {insert conspiracy theory}")

Modern day farming practices and the food chain IS inhumane and anyone who can't see that has no light in their heart.
