It might be helpful if you used active methods to keep them away and the spell. Try throwing water at them with a hose and scaring them with loud noises.
This spell I call 'Animation', it gives life to any object or structure, or more precisely, it gives a face and a personality to anything. So, you will have to develop your own way to cast it, but the idea is to imagine and 'make the tree alive' by giving it an angry face that will devour the crows that land on it.
Feed that idea every day, that the tree is devouring the crows and their numbers are shrinking, or whenever you think it is needed.
