I would hazard a guess that the love the great master was referring to was unconditional, without distinction or discrimination between anything that may appear in the manifestation of everything, both abuser and abused, each the other and the one love in action, dreaming difference where there is none.
An all inclusive manifestation of Oneness despite the very convincing, solid looking, appearance of difference/separation.
