Making My Own Hypnosis CD
 

For a while, I've been looking on Youtube, trying to find a guided meditation or hypnosis recording that somehow meets my specific emotional needs.

Few have come close, I like Marianne Williamson, I like Michael Sealy...but I want a tailored session.

Then the thought hit me...why not make a hypnosis session by myself and for myself?

The idea sounds good in theory, because I know all those things that trigger me into trance states...but I can't get over the whole 'weirded out' feeling that would accompany me trying to relax to my own voice (which isn't very relaxing)...I mean, I could try my 'deep and quiet' voice, but I'd probably end up just laughing at myself.

Has anybody else tried this and how did they go?

Yes. You don't need an external voice to get self hypnotized. You can run your script in your mind.
