Does meditating on Chakras lead to Kundalini energy?

Is the root chakra linked with kundalini energy? I read that chakras lead to the awakening of kundalini energy,
which often creates trouble, so is it safe to meditate on chakras?

You should never meditate on one single chakra for a long time, that can be dangerous.
I focus a couple of minutes on each chakra, visualizing its color and vibrating its mantra,
that is the method which works best for me.

Wanna explain to the group what you mean?
This is your opinion, of course, the dangerous part. Thanks

This is absolutely not true and a shame you posted it as it might now frighten people that are beginning with all this.
We worked on one chakra during intuitive development for an entire day. There is no risk. It takes longer to get to feel a chakra to begin with, and to make a beginning with clearing and balancing. Although that of course cannot be done in one go.

But there's absolutely no danger whatsoever to focus on one chakra.
I still often do this, choosing the one that I feel needs some work or cleansing. I began doing this work in 2005, I've occasionally taught other people, so I daresay I'm more than advanced.
That's not to brag but to hopefully put people's mind at ease.

If it feels scary to you then maybe it'd be better to learn to do this with guidance in a group.
Saying that to SalvadorMundi but it goes for everyone who rather not start this journey alone.

Yes, it is absolutely safe! But it is good to intuitively choose which one that would be and not based on for instance "I want my Kundalini active, so I'm working on the Root!"

It takes time and it is good to explore all chakras and work on them all. You will become familiar with them and learn to feel when they need a bit of work, which ones are more balanced and which ones aren't.
It is best to start at the bottom with the root and work your way up to the crown.
It is also recommended to spend more time on the first 3 chakras as they are closely related together and these 3 form the foundation of our being. Our inner strength, self-confidence, expressing our emotions and relating to others, and so on is all in these 3 chakras so they're very important.
You will likely also find that these require more work and more often than the others.

In any case, explore, maybe get a book on this with beginner exercises. There's so much more to it than just focusing on a chakra.
Too much to explain here, as entire courses that last weeks are given on this, and rightfully so if you want to cover the whole lot thoroughly.
If you don't want to do a course a good book can be a great alternative!

That was my thought...and...

I do not have any experience with meditation or chakra cleansing, so please take my post any way you wish.

We are all unique, so what works for one might not work for others.

Perhaps try it out yourself and see what happens. That's what we are here for, to free will explore and experience all, and in the process over many lifetimes gain greater wisdom and maturity.

(Greater wisdom and maturity to uncover who we truly are and why we are here)

Is it spiritually dangerous? Yes, if you want it to be. No, if you don't want it to be. Our consciousness is much grander and more powerful than most believe. We have control of the steering wheel.

Is it physically dangerous? If you think so, then don't do it. Your unique akash will give you the intuition appropriate at this particular moment and point on your spiritual journey.

"Don't worry, be happy" is good advice with much physics behind it. In fact, when we choose to be more joyful and happy with our life, and being grateful to be alive here enjoying the grandness and wonderment of this part of the vast whole reality, would we still need to do meditation or chakra cleansing?

What an amazing adventure we passionately signed up for when on the other side of the veil of forgetfulness.

All the best!

In my view, there is no point in focusing on any chakra. Sure, there are kriya yoga techniques and even yogic asanas but …. to keep it simple, instead of instrumentalising the chakras or kundalini, let’s just say we wish to connect with our own divinity within. To do so, we must clear blockages, which are beliefs, fears and desires.

This means, everything related to mind-body identity goes. We become empty. Of course, it is a slow process. However, the cleansing enables our body vessel to become magnetised. The magnetism or alignment then automatically allows the current to navigate through in-form nadis in a manner optimal.

We are tested for resistance. If our surrender is total, then there is no separation of our lower mind with our higher mind. We can use other words … it doesn’t matter. We embrace oneness by direct recognition.

I’m not for any doing. Doing is interfering. We can however enter silence, stretch stillness, position attention in animated wonderment, receptive to offered surprise. Then all is enabled, automatically.

I think it can happen. In fact even by reading a book about stuff like this can stir your energies, and trigger a lot of things.Safe or not, doesn't matter. You do something, you trigger an event, you experience the reaction. That's all about.
Nothing is 'safe'.

Yes

Chakras are linked to our Kundalini, which is an exemplification of our enormous hidden potential.
There are numerous ways to unlock these untapped potentials (Mantra repetition, Gemstones, yoga asanas, pranayamas, meditation, etc.)
Because all things begin with our ideas, they are regarded as the most powerful means of accessing our innate abilities.

Our ideas are the most powerful causative factor for the manifestation of all possibilities because they are the primary source of all creations.
Possessing possibilities without the wisdom to use them wisely is like to a monkey brandishing a sword; it is dangerous to oneself and others.
