When you're stuck in the city
 

Hi everyone,

One of things I enjoy the most about leaving the house and getting into the mountains is the cooler weather (I live in a desert city after all with even hotter heat due to the urban heat-island effect), but I also enjoy the sounds of nature.

Living in suburbia and working in urban areas, I don't get to hear nature sounds very often.

I don't know why I never thought of it before, but I've been downloading nature sounds. Not only has it enhanced my meditation (I put it on as background music) but it's just an overall calming effect for me.
