You're absolutely right, as usual :D , that I shouldn't have put my "but" in there :D as it should more appropriately have been an "and" since "but" in that context does have a negative connotation.

In some ways, the NDE was indeed non-denominational, as you duly noted. I will concede that. However, as soon as I started listening to it (even before the explicit Christian references), I intuited her Christian orientation and subsequently checked her obituary which confirmed my intuition.

In assessing Truth, one eventually looks for conditioning or biases that influence such experiences. In this way, one can better arrive at Truth by eliminating as best as possible the conditioned aspects of the reported experience. Henry James did that quite well in his classic "Varieties of Religious Experiences".

I completely misinterpreted some of the directive aspects of my NDE. However, as life progressed (in terms of years, not days or weeks), everything became crystal clear. Nothing remained unexplained. :smile:
