movies with hidden messages are hard for me to think of but there are a lot of movies where i think people miss the plainly in sight messages

Watching Season 5 of Outlander " stand for all ". I am trying to make this last till the next season is released.

The Matrix has an obvious gnostic message that has been acknowledged by its creators.

Others like this are Dark City, The Truman Show, Pleasantville.

The Matrix. You have to work out what The Matrix actually symbolises. On one hand, it could be a symbol of capitalism, enslaving millions around the world without them actually being aware;

“ Most people are so inert, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to defend it. “

Or it could also be that The Matrix is your own negative thought system, attracting bad things to you, and that it is something you need to transcend;

“ You’ve got to give it all up Neo: doubt, fear disbelief. Free your mind. “
