Keep it simple, our thoughts are befuddled Lost in the maze, we are delusional Ego borne cravings are often tabled Hermit! Show us the true path, factual Our dilemma such, it is comical By spiralling dark thoughts, we are cudgelled We seek guidance, by direct visual Keep it simple, our thoughts are befuddled The path direct, by love we are cuddled We rest all knowing experiential Ego mind such, it will have us muddled Lost in the maze, we are delusional All we need, is love in our arsenal Agreeing by divine, to be cajoled We need patience, the shift is gradual Ego borne cravings are often tabled Truth glowing in our heart, cannot be googled We are the light, we are the miracle Our innocence from heights has now tumbled Hermit! Show us the true path, factual Following love, fragrant and musical Our centred presence, with bliss thus huddled Voice of loving conscience infallible We now stand erect, when once we stumbled Keep it simple Rondeau Redouble |
Heightened delight
Heightened delight, born of magnetic heat
Rapture without end, through each day and night Hidden in plain sight, an open secret Each time like the first time, our maiden flight Hollowed out form fearless takes a love bite Our childlike exuberance indiscreet Ecstatic as polarities ignite Heightened delight, born of magnetic heat Flowing thus in the bliss current upbeat We enter silence and stillness quiet No one feels our joy, though we often tweet Rapture without end, through each day and night We are at peace, knowing our path is right As head and heart merge, we now feel complete Our countenance shines, with light within bright Hidden in plain sight, an open secret Swathed in shower of love, with bliss replete Oh hermit, teleported to such great heights Our blooming thus, a miraculous feat Each time like the first time, our maiden flight In time we acquire compassionate sight Lower mind rests, acknowledging defeat We become the bliss, we become the light Our vaporised being, each soul does greet Heightened delight |
Awaking from the dream
Plunged into dream life of our choosing We are hypnotised by shadows therein Enmeshed in desires and thus stagnating Senses dead to throb of bliss ignition How may we awake from this amnesia A question for which there seems no answer Scriptures too dwell upon this enigma Yet no magic wand appears nor saviour Self help then, we shift into calm tranquil Silence and stillness in the void vibrant Wherein throb of bliss is Gods miracle Pristine presence to each pulse sentient Dreamer and dreamed must merge to become one Knowing instant if ego urge undone Sonnet |
Disillusioned
we went to the temple to pray that we may feel Gods presence finding there souls seeking end to their sorrow in as related to transient earth life goals their fears reinforced by priests to control the herd so we sat still wondering at the foolishness of mockery thus man made attempting to cage God in their narrowness even though it is apparent to us all that the void of soft silence in each breath intake ignites a love flame in our heart as proof of God Poetry form:Suzette Prime |
