I'm Losing Faith in my Pendulum answers
 

Been using one for over 15 yrs and have felt strongly about the answers I get but recently not feeling too strong at all. sad but truth.

It could be that your pendulum needs cleaning.
I smudge mine but there are other ways.especially if it is a crystal

If I were in your situation, I'd suspect that to be a message for me.

One possibility is that I rely too much on it, which impedes my overall development. I should use more my intuition, intellect, inner-senses.

Another possibility is that I ask questions wanting too much a certain answer, so the pendulum's answer is influenced by that. It either gives me the answer I want, or it gives me the answer I dislikes, I fear, ...

If you don't trust it, your pendulum will become more unreliable. The more unreliable, the more you won't trust it. Catch 22.

You have to realize that the pendulum is a conduit to access information through your subconscious, that isn't limited by space, time, probabilities. Your beliefs and expectations affect / distort the knowledge you access.

Many people started with a pendulum, then graduated to other ways of accessing their inner-source of knowledge and guidance.

I hear you and I've been looking at a supplement for OA pain and I would normally test my pendulum on "if I should get on it fdor pain relief" but I have not and using my own gut feeling and don't believe I'll go with it.

Well, just tested my pendulum and got a negative, so go with the Moringa...now my gut could have a lot to do with the negative reply.

I realise this is an old thread, but maybe this post might help someone else.

As we all know, pendulums act as an enlarger or magnifier of small muscle movements which come as a result of picking up signals from external sources. As such, they are only affected by our physical brains interpretations of those signals. The small muscle movements are not conscious movements but nevertheless they are generated by us in our brain - just like any other signal to move our muscles.

Looking at it this way, it seems to me that this must be a crisis of confidence and a period of low self-confidence and that is what I would work on. Perhaps examine your beliefs around the pendulum and how it works with your body and whether responsibility is being pushed away from you towards an inanimate object (the pendulum).

Ultimately we are responsible for the decisions we make whether they are made using aids or not (such as pendulums, cards, crystal balls, bones, or whatever.)

I too have questioned my ability to get accurate and correct responses from my pendulum, so you are not alone. I wonder if Radionic rates are able to be documented in tables and books or whether each person has a different rate for a different health condition they are treating or diagnosing. If Dr Albert Abrams deduced his rates with the aid of variable resisters, it seems that the 'rates' should work for everyone, but now all the world and his cat are creating their own rates books or cards or whatever. So, I question the effectiveness of these and how it all really works.

The other thing to bear in mind is that using pendulums, I believe you have to mentally set parameters in time and space as our consciousness transcends these. So, I suspect it is important to do that if you are not. That could definitely affect your results.

if you use telepathy to communicate with your pendulum it's still a telepathy exercise to use it weather or not you have faith in the answers

besides ~ what could any answer that comes from outside of yourself be except for something to think about

Trust in your own inner intuition, your pendulum can only take you so far, it's up to your intuition to clarify whether it's truth or lie, right or wrong.

The pendulum is just an extension of one's self, and used for confirmation purposes.

If you personally feel there are blockages, first correct your way of thinking, thoughts should be positive and without doubt if you lack faith in the pendulums readings then it is only because you lack faith in your own abilities.

Therefore, it's not your pendulum, but in reality it's you and the way you think about things.

Tools are wonderful and can certainly point us in the right direction. But they aren't meant to give us all the answers and tell us what to do.

I'm not saying you are using it like that, just something to think about.

Are you relying on the pendulum to give you answers to questions that maybe you should also be researching, or that you can make on your own?

Are you overriding free will and the use of your logical mind too much?

Ultimately balance is best. I like to use light research to select a few options. Then I use my psychic abilities to tell me what I need to know about each of those options. I use that to filter down what options I am considering. And then I do deeper research on my filtered list to select my final choice.

So logical mind + spiritual mind.
