My garden will bring nature spirits
I am planning to make my garden a haven for all sorts of nature spirits and woodland creatures. The back of my garden is the Loch Lomond national park with forest area.

It really does sound very idyllic .
What ideas do you have ? |
Wow, sounds like you live in a beautiful place. I love Scotland.
Any chance of a photo of the garden when you've completed it? |
I did a garden near a woodland, and the 'woodland creatures' created havoc. The roos, possums and rabbits chomped all the new plants, and the bush turkey uprooted things and took all the mulch. It was devastating to comeback and see my hard efforts destroyed by pests, but I know a thing or two about plant selection, and only used hardy native species, so it'll be OK and it'll mature into an outstanding tribute to Australian flora. Of course that's good for the native birds and lizards and bees etc, and the resident black rock wallaby is quite a novelty as well.

I want to make it an ethereal sanctuary. On one side I will grow potatoes & turnips. There will be flowers to attract butterflies & bees. I may have a pod for guest sleeping or simply a lounge area. I will have steps to the back where there will be a bench

I can just picture it in my minds eye.
I think you are in the right "conditions" climate wise to create such a haven. |
