My song of the day is Like a Prayer by Madonna (I have been listening to a lot of her music lately). I dreamt about it last night and found myself singing it in the shower a while later. She has made a career of dance songs, and causing shock and outrage (which the music video to Like a Prayer certainly did) but she also has a lot of emotive songs with a real visceral quality.

My family has had a bellyful of the cold weather the last few weeks, the grandkids are out for spring break as of today and tomorrow morning we are all fleeing to St Barts for a week!

By tomorrow afternoon we will land in Gustasvia Saint Barthelemy , check into Eden Rock....and Sunday......off to the beach!
