Alone
Lonely vs Alone
Loneliness is a modern day reality Slow strangulation, with us the casualty But with expectations reduced, no more forlorn Let us substitute the word lonely with alone Lonely is externalised, seeking, egocentric Alone is internalised, detached, divine centric Diametrically opposite in orientation Divine love neither judges nor shows hesitation Pouring out its fragrance for one & all alike, glowing Unexpectant of reciprocation, always free flowing So enjoy a coffee with a friend or without Mindful always of the wayside beggars voiceless shout Life is beautiful, if we shift the fulcrum to our centre The door to the divine opens within, just enter! |
Alone we experience our Pain
Child stumbles, nose bleeds Child’s cry, his mother heeds She frets & fusses, wipes the stain She is concerned but cannot feel his pain For each must live his life alone in solitude Though friends may hold hands to build fortitude But his life experiences are for him & for him alone Lived, felt, assimilated, etched upon his soul in stone As life ebbs away slowly, the near & dear gather around Bones squeezed within, breathing constrained, mind unsound Through the pain he feels the tender touch of empathetic hands Yet none knows the pain he feels within where he makes a lone last stand Such is the truth of the Lone Ranger Fact over fiction is far more stranger Attachments, fears & desires slowly extinguish In aloneness he embraces his own pain & anguish And there is this other pain, far, far deeper than the physical More poignant, piercing & lasting than even the emotional It is what he experiences in his final moments ... remorse Arising from thoughts, words & deeds lived, egoistic & coarse As he replays before his consciousness his dispersal of love & pain Love divine-centric and the tears he gave others, his own self-serving stain A stain he must erase himself, thereby removing his egoistic feral defect Alone he must face his karma, the immutable law of cause & effect |
In aloneness we embrace the divine
We may shout it from the rooftops but no one will understand The ecstasy within we feel, when in still-aloneness, we are divine-entwined An ineffable joy within, inexpressible, expansive, soul uplifting, grand It is in aloneness that our body, soul & spirit are Universe aligned |
Alone in our stillness
Only in our aloneness And doerless completeness In a mode of staid stillness We access Universe connectedness We are One with the Oneness Alone in our stillness |
Lovers
Lovers! Intimately close, twin souls Yet each deep within, each is alone Alone at the core where their lover can never reach For the auric blueprint of each of us is unique Alone each of us must walk the inner path to ascension Lover helps by holding our hand through life’s outer tensions Yet alone we were born & alone we will die In our aloneness too, we must also reach for the stars in the sky |
Alone & Joyful
Alone? Yes. I mean no! How else than alone, would I have known? Oneness with centre in motion, periphery slow! In aloneness, fulcrum shift perceives The source, the harbinger of inner wellness Images of the ego but deceive No mirror, so no reflection, in our alone-stillness What is it then, the rippleless essence? It is here, within, ineffable joy, beyond delineation Not one with, but rather The-aloneness-presence Self-cognised, when we abandon sensory limitations |
Boredom?
The genesis of boredom, discontent & melancholy lies in loneliness Contrasted to the joy of being alive here & now in our vibrant aloneness Just as indifference or self-serving egoism is consciousness contracting While detachment, desirelessness, Universe connecting love, expanding ... Extrapolating from these consciousness contracting vs expanding examples We may contemplate upon our inner orientation from other samples Our reflex instincts; just two lists: one giving, the other seeking more One narrowing, the other expanding our consciousness at the core As and when our attention is externalised, anchored in egoistic seeking The delusional impossibility of making permanent the impermanent leaves us despondent, lonesome & weeping Which is the root cause of our needless self-inflicted suffering ... Shifting the fulcrum of our consciousness inwards, divine-entwined is fulfilling, empowering & enlightening Boredom? What is that? In being to become, I AM always That! Choosing light over darkness, a persona winsome Discarding vicarious knowledge for deep inner wisdom We can choose to effortlessly reshape ourselves as we choose in our stillness A self-help divine-assisted program we may execute in our joyous aloneness Inner cleansing, lightening egoistic baggage, treading gently on the earth Effusing unconditional love, dispersing the fragrance divine unendingly in joyous mirth |
Aloneness but not alone
In the sanctum of aloneness Within meditational stillness Poised, aware, alert We sense a spurt Within ... a movement A divine enablement Movement allowing recognition Stillness ... assimilation Within our aloneness Resistancelessness be-ness Divine love entwined Transforming as empathetic & kind From the gross ego untied We stand not alone but unified With the Universe, in loving-oneness In aloneness, stillness-timeless |
Alone we awaken
Be the fellow mans egoistic delusion His state of inner conflict & confusion Be self-inflicted Our helplessness is reflected By our inability to correct his direction We just watch in observational contemplation In aloneness of our core consciousness Loving yet powerless to assist in our stillness Such is the dilemma Akin to watching the cinema Images will unfold as ordained We are not, so who is pained? The river must run its course Over terrain both smooth & coarse In its aloneness Alive be-ness As do we, alone yet entwined With the current divine In acceptance & trust Ascending to love from lust In aloneness |
Alone the sun emits life giving light
Even though the earth turns its back It minds not its unseemly slight For it is the light! Nothing does it lack! |
