Guides
 

Guides is a term that can be used for many souls. Some other terms can be used as well. Souls start off with primarily one main guide and some can refer to this as a mentor. This is mainly for younger souls. There is also their mentor's mentor, though they may not see this person as around as much.

They also will eventually have teachers, these are teachers for different projects and subjects. These can all be refereed to as guides, or one can use different terms.

The first guide, or mentor, is one that many will feel very close to, like an older brother or older friend. Though some may not feel as close, everyone being an individual. They tend to be very loving, humorous. Though most do let souls try to figure things out on their own, willing to help if needed or if asked give some guidance.

The relationship can be more complicated with time being relative to each soul. By poping around in time one could, in theory, be a guide/mentor for their own primary guide/mentor, though most souls don't indulge this since it complicates things. Others don't mind or like the way it complicates the relationship or adds new layers to the relationship they share.

This mentor they will share with the other souls in their first soul group. Over time they may see each other less as they each develop their own interests and focuses, though they will always continue to meet and come together, some more often then others.

The soul groups and friends one has will grow as souls develop new interests and focuses. As this increases so will their number of guides as they learn new things. These they will see less or more then some others, depending on their own interests.

This includes the souls who end up on a soul council, a thing that some may find surprising that they will be in a soul council sooner or later. Those on such a council will have a teacher/guide for this to help in various ways to teach, offer the benefit of their experience, and so on. Some souls may have more then 1 teacher or guide in a certain subject or area.

As far as I know...all true...the system set up is like clockwork.
