Making my first altar
 

I have been growing more and more into my spirituality and was wanting to make an altar but I am unsure of what to do or how to start one.

Anybody have any helpful advice, please?

You can simply add anything you like on your altar. If you connect with a deity then incorporate items that corresponds to that god or goddess. You can also make an ancestor altar with pictures of your loved ones with items that they like.

A few ideas for an altar would include candles, incense, athame, wand, offering bowls, chalice, crystals, statues, scrying mirror, ornaments, etc.

Google search images pagan altars, wicca altars for inspiration. There is a redditaltars lots of pictures, Youtube videos of altars and witchy hauls for altars.:smile:
A walk in nature you can find items or a seaside walk: shells, sand, stones.
Home decor shops: candles, candleholders, bowls, incense burner, oil burner, placemats as altar cloth. A good online shop is AzureGreen.
