What REAL proof do you have for life after death?
This'll be an interesting thread. I am not a skeptic, I believe in life after death but it will be interesting to read the replies, I'll come back next week. :smile:
ADDED: *What makes you sure that our consciousness survives after death* . |
Well as a medium i have given numerous Validations to people from their Loved ones on the other side.

Finding the older sister of my girlfriend in the shadows years ago when she died, and being able to follow her in the barbo until she was reborn as a young guy 12 months ago to finally meet this new born baby with my girlfriend that sees in him her sister.
But I do not have any scientific proof of that to give. Antoine |
I have too many to list --personal ones I have had, oh my!
There is nothing like going to a medium and having someone you know come thru! Wowsa! |
Were there any REAL proof then we wouldn't be scrabbling around in the dark.
I have at various times written accounts of my own experiences here on SF, but it seems to me to have been in vain. Naturally I do think that the experiences of others don't really count in one's personal life but there are moments when one is stopped in one's tracts by hearing just what has been experienced. I tend to think in the direction of bobjob, a man who is convinced that life after death IS as he understands it. There are possibly many other explanations but I'll stick with my own two experiences which seem to be continually confirmed in various manners. |
@Op:
What do you consider a "Real Proof" ? Because what is "real" for me may become only "a belief" for you. And it is only the "Experience" that brings the "Surety". While i can not give you the "Experience", i, maybe, can talk you into the belief. And for the proof of it: I can talk about the/my "Experiences". |
Thankyou all for your replies and I believe every one of them. I'm not carrying on with this thread as I now know that your experiences are personal to you.
The original wording on the thread now seems a bit misleading. It should have been *What experience lead you to believe that there truly is a life after death*. |
The evening after my brother died, I was in the bathroom and I heard the sound of his bedroom slippers walking down the hall to his bedroom. The next morning, I was awakened to the smell of tuna and coffee. He died of complications from cancer. The cancer had returned and he had a fungal infection in his heart, which is what killed him. He had oral cancer and lost his tongue to the disease and had been unable to eat food by mouth. He told me he dreamed about eating food when he was alive. The smell of coffee and tuna was from him. It was like 6:30 in the morning and no one else in the house (daughter or husband) was up yet and with the bedroom door closed, smells from the kitchen would have not made it upstairs anyway.
This is real proof to me, anyway. |
Nice story Traveler,
Just curious were you able to communicate with you brother in other ways after that? I understand that this can be a sensitive subject. Antoine |
