Cats are my absolute favourite :smile: but I like most animals (not wasps though:icon_eek:)

Rats and Fennecs are joint top for me, it would be a hard decision between both of them. :D

I find I watch a lot of African documentaries, anything with lions, hyenas, buffalo etc. There's a side of me that likes to watch animals hunt and fight.

Anyhow, if I had to choose a favourite animal I would possibly nominate the lion.

As far as domestic animals go, I would favour cats but we have a small dog here and he gets my love as well.

I consider myself a reptile person, though I currently don't keep any. More anoles would be nice.

I have no particular favorite, they are all interesting and fascinating in their own right.

I thought bees and butterflies would be considered insects. Entomology is the study of insects while zoology is the study of animals. Whales and dolphins are cetaceans...

nitpicking I suppose. marine mammals.

This is a hard choice! I'm a HUGE animal lover, and love different kinds for different reasons.

I love snakes for their calmness. I have had many snakes and just holding them is so soothing.

I love cats for their quirkiness and strange individual personalities.

I love dogs for their unconditional love and affection.

Who could choose just one?

I like Owls. Owls, Cats, dogs, And this isn't an "animal", but I like scorpions too. As well as snakes.

I don't mean to split hairs Scorpio but scorpions are indeed animals,arthropods related to the spiders.Mammals,birds,reptiles,amphibians,fish,ins ects,spiders etc are all classed as animals,hope this helps.

Yes scorpions are quite amazing aren't they,aren't they supposed to be able to withstand eight times as much radiation as humans?

There aren't many animals I dont like although I have a healthy respect for those that can hurt me if they wish. Top would be, horses dogs cats and brown bears.

I love horses. But also wildcat , eagle and horse. recently I just have a deep love for Wombats ! ahah :) I also love fox... too much animal to just pick one to be my favourite ahah

I am a cat person..house cats, but my fave big cat would be the cheetah!

i like chickens. mainly because i breed them. but i would also have to say falcons, hawks, eagles and those sort of things. i really admire them.

So many of the wild folk to choose from. One whose company I always enjoy is the old Red Shouldered Hawk that in the colder months will perch upon a large oak bough near my shop at work on some mornings after a night of rain or sometimes near quitting time, if the resident crows are not harassing him to no end.

I am also quite fond of turtles.

I agree with Honza....Bumble bees are my favourite creature...I have rescued several ...I always have a jar of honey for this...just a little bit on tne handle end of a teaspoon....watch the bee stick out his tongue and suck up the honey

....then they try their wings....then let go with rheir feet....flying home.

I once rescued one and his wings were stuck together...I used my finger and thumb nails to pry them apart for him....off he went,but he came back and flew a horizontal figure 8 right in front

of my face.

And I love Dolphins too.

Cats,giraffes and horses.

I love Ravens. I've always felt they are my protectors and when I am worried or stressed over something, they always come to me and caw, to make their presence known. To me, it's a sign, everything will be ok.

I also love cats, all kinds - domesticated and feral.

Zebras, Peacocks, Bears, Giraffes and Lizards.

I would have to choose the ancient inhabitants of Britain - wolf, fox, badger, otter, raptors.
I dream that one day, I will hear wolf song on the moors :smile:
