Colloidal Silver
 

Hey guys,

I've been having a infection (some sort of pelvic infection) for almost 7 months now and no antibiotic seems to be curing it. I am starting to get VERY worried about this. I've been researching a bit about Colloidal Silver and they say it is just spot on to cure those kind of infections. I want to know if you guys know anything about it and whats your opinion on this? Of course I will keep on seeing my specialist and maybe tell her about Colloidal Silver.

I have heard of it in passing, but have no idea on what it does. So if you do find out something, can you post that please?

Definitely keep seeing your specialist and should you get your hands on the silver, make sure you do run it past them before using it. Because most people don't think something can be harmful to them until it is to late. This is especially true if you are taking any kind of medication, including over the counter ones.

Hmm, have you talked to the doctor about any and all meds. you're on or have used and are still using? It could be some kind of side effect from mixing them. Worth a shot right? :)

A natural antibiotic used since the time of ancient Persia. Silver's curative properties were the reason people used (or used to use) silver platters, goblets and cutlery.

Grapefruit Seed Extract is another natural antibiotic you might care to consider.

If there is inflammation curcumin and/or ginger might be worth a try too.

That fellow was taking the same amount of CS in one day that I took in the space of three years! And he was doing it every day for years ... Why????

And taking anything at such HUGE amounts and over such a long period of time, if it was toxic, why wasn't he dead?

The same with any type of medicine, follow the recommended dosage.

The whole thing was 'alternative medicine bashing'. Ironically, despite being so happy to besmirch it, Big Pharm is incorporating silver into more and more medicines and healthcare items.

Alternative medicine also has it's flaws. For one thing safeguards - since many herbal medicines are considered "food" and not "drugs" (depending on the country where you live) there is no regulatory board policing safety for the public. Many herbals in pill form don't contain what they say, or the product is stale and useless. There is always a risk when it is "do it yourself". Who are you gonna trust anymore? That's why self-education is the best medicine!

I just ordered two bottles 500 ml online and I started my "treatment" last night. I will keep you guys up to date if it has worked or not. So far I am feeling slightly better, so all good. I guess the chance of getting argyria from taking small doses is quite low. :):)

In UK we have the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency) which, in 2011 caused me to have to shut down my herbal tinctures business.
Now -that was only because they introduced far stricter controls over the manufacture of herbal products for use as medicines. And I completely agreed with the legislation.
Products by any manufacturer now have to be tested/analysed. The cost for one single product is not so bad. But it didn't work for me as I produced 48 separate products. The fee was not viable for my small business, so I folded and did something else.
But I was absolutely in agreement with the new laws. It does mean that products manufactured in the UK are what they say they are, and do not contain any impurities, which is reassuring.

I have never tried colloidal silver. I suppose it is available online but I have never seen it on sale here (UK) .....or perhaps I haven't looked hard enough? lol

Hum, that is interesting.

Here in New Zealand it seems to be quite popular - I bought it online and also found it on a small healthy products store nearby my place. No difficulties at all and price is accessible. Hopefully this is going to help me with my issue - I am really done with taking so many antibiotics, I feel like I am creating a new super powerful bacteria instead of getting rid of it :icon_frown: :icon_frown:
