Yesterday, I bought him a full meal. He has been depressed. His best friend, his sister (age 94), had just died. I hope he keeps going but I got a feeling...........

Aw that was so kind of you BigJohn, I am sure he not only enjoyed his meal but the fact that you took some time to talk and listen to him, that is sad to hear about his sister passing away. I am sure you will keep an eye on him.

an honest question after one year of lock-down. it feels strange to even be out among others. the world has changed for me. do stores even exist any more? maybe i will lace up my tennies and go out to look. like poking my head out of a manhole i'm afraid...

I tend to do most of my shopping online these days. There is so much more choice than the high street.

I agree, but there is something to walking down a street, arm in arm with someone, looking in windows...i miss that.

I have booked my holiday for the year. Not in the sense that I am going anywhere, but rather that I have blown a holidays worth of money on war games. I never go on holiday anyway and so I save up and buy stuff I want!

Now it is rather complicated to do, unfortunately. So I enjoy shopping online. But I believe soon we'll go to the shopping malls and enjoy a lot of time there.

I have just bought a epoxy resin kit with moulds and inks, I have never used it before so I am looking forward to having a bash at it.

I'm something of an ''unhappy'' shopper because I don't go shopping unless I absolutely have to, I prefer to avoid crowded public places. But I've recently bought a new bicycle which was really necessary since my previous one got broken.

I recently went to wal-mart and purchased a sketchbook, coloring pencils that had 80 different colors, and some art markers for outlining the drawings. My illustrations go with my stories that I'm typing on at my public library.

I love to shop........ and I always go overoard. LOL!

I treat myself to a lovely purple crystal ball with a stand as now the night are drawing in it issomething I have been wanting to try out.

I have also been buying some extra food supplies as again this year I will be helping out to make some Christmas shoe boxes to be sent out to the troops serving around the world to help them celebrate Christmas whilst away from home and thier loved ones.
