Favorite Children's Books?
The Chronicles of Narnia.
Roald Dahl Goosebumps Dr. Seuss ...so far. I love reading books aimed at kids, there is something about the imagination in the stories that makes me gravitate towards it. |
Yeah, love the Chronicles Of Narnia.
How about the Weirdstone Of Brisingamen and the Moon Of Gomrath? Or the Willard Price 'Adventure' series? Or Biggles.... |

I definitely remember goosebumps. I was addicted to it. Had a whole collection of goosebumps books as a kid. Loved the ones where they gave you a choice as to what action to take by turning to a certain page. Very creative and intelligent author. R.L. Stein. |
Not a children's book, but I think my all time favorite novel is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. It's just so great, imo!

Books I liked when young:
Bailey School Kids series Bunnicula the vampire rabbit The Guests of War trilogy by Kit Pearson The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles I also read a lot of Holocaust memoirs aimed for young people. |
I loved (and still do) The Secret Garden. Frances Hodgson Burnett wrote a few other good books, besides this one.
|
I like THE LORAX by Dr. Seuss because it teaches children about overdevelopment of land/resources/environment due to greed for money or some other form of compensation.
