Are Plants and Animals Atheist?
Well, they might be, I don't think that they are aware of the Source/Creator. I believe that they just reflect on the I am concept, survival and don't overthink as probably most humans do.
What do you think about that? |
I asked my dog once if he believed in God. He looked up at me and gave me the most confused and awkward stare...

They are the guardians of being. Well, according to Eckhart Tolles's Guardians of Being book

Regarding plants and animals ... it isn't disrespectful to them to not attribute them human characteristics. |
You need to have a concept of a God to be considered Atheist or not.

African elephants may practice moon worship and they are aware of the natural cycles. They do ritual bath on full moon. Chimpanzees stay silent for long time after a group member dies. There's alot more. Check it out if you want. So yes animals can be religious, atleast some species. You can find info on wikipedia about this and other sites. This is where i got the info.

We don't know what they're doing and why they're doing. To call them religious is an unjustified exaggeration. By the way, I love animals. |

Fair enough. Who knows why they do it. But its still possible that they are religious. Probably not in the sense we humans are though. Maybe a simple form of religious behavior. But animals aren't so complex so maybe its not religious behavior but something else and unknown. In all seriousness i don't know what to think. If we only could ask them... |

When I asked my dogs, they got into a dog fight. |
