So what are your thoughts on it? And were you creeped out? Quote:
Damn. This series started really good but the ending came out of nowhere. A story unresolved and no season 2? Huh.. what... or was the story actually finished? Has anyone else seen it? |

I enjoyed it. Loved Flora's accent, especially the way she pronounced "perfectly splendid".. After episode 5, it got a bit confusing, but when I watched episode 8, it all made sense again. And yes, it sure had some jump scares.. |
... I'm starting to think you are all a little bit "disturbed".. !!!!!
... LOL ... But then again , I can look at myself in the mirror for several days / weeks/ years/.... And if that's not "disturbing"... Nothing is... I'm into the cop / who done it.... Either fact or fiction, at the moment... Depends onood. Yet to watch the "Tiger king" ... But I have a sneaking suspicion I will "bond" with him lol.... Otherwise the last thing I watched was "making a murderer" ...slow I know !... But I always was "behind the times"... |

Nice. A really multilayered story that takes a very intriguing journey from this world and into another. |
Currently watching Knightfall.

Did the ending made any sense to you? I thought the characters were interesting and there was more potential to it all. Maybe a matter of budget or maybe it's just me. |
Just started A Discovery of Witches...the miserable vampires in it are cracking me up

It used the dark/light symbol and after she fully absorbed the darkness there was an explosion of light, making the battle she fought during the film not so much between the protagonist and antagonist but a battle in her own soul, which was carried forward into the strobe light flashing between the evil and good in the urban setting which marks her choice between worlds - the one that burns the forest, or the one that protects it. It draws together other symbols such as the burning forest referencing burning the villagers and a bit more with the black tears referencing back to the poisoning scene where they shared the poison. Like the good poisons itself... it was all internalised by the protagonist in the last scene. Question remaining, can the worlds live together/can she live with herself, and who is she mostly, the destroyer or protector, which may not be resolved, but the nature of the eternal... |
