Rumi and Maharshi
 

We rarely hear the inward music,
But we're all dancing to it nevertheless.

All are seeing God always,
But they don't know it.

There is no difference between the dream and the waking state
except that the dream is short and the waking long.
Both are the result of the mind.
Our real state is beyond the waking, dream and sleep states, called turiya.*

The individual soul realizes and transcends the three states of waking, dreaming, and deep sleep

 Time is only an idea.
 There is only the Reality.
 Whatever you think it is,
 it looks like that.

    If you call it time, it is time.
    If you call it existence,
    it is existence,
    and so on.

       After calling it time,
       you divide it into days and nights,
       months, years, hours, minutes, etc.

           Time is immaterial
           for the Path of Knowledge.

     The best way to meditate
     is through meditation itself.

Be what you are
That which is, is ever present
Even now you are It,
And not apart from It.

Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find all the barriers

You are originally unlimited
      and perfect.

Later you take on limitations
  and become the mind.
