I owned the box set by TMC (with the originals the other side). Until I got divorced, then I didn't own it anymore. There are some fantastic originals that TMC covered. It's great to hear them both.

I suppose I could get the three TMC CDs on ebay. I think I should - they are such a great band.

If I could only take one track to a desert island, it would be this one...

My golly gosh squatchit, I didn't know who sung this (infact a friend sang it to me and i thought my friend had written it, lol). Great song, and strange cos I was drawn to listening to it. Thanks so much for sharing, this one's going to be playing all night now:hug2:

Just briefly going back to Nick Cave....he wrote a book called 'And the *** Saw the Angel'.

I knew him as a singer/songwriter before the book.

I read a lot. Always have. His book went into my top ten. It was weird (not surprising), disturbing (not surprising) and very unusual (not surprising).

As an aside we bumped into him in a pizza restaurant in London. He was with his young son and my and ex-hubby wandered in. Of course, we both recognised him. Hubby said hello but I lowered my face. Silly sod I am.

Anyway, getting back to music. Don't know why, but see what you think of this....

That's so funny...because oddly enough I met someone else recently who also owned the box set (that's unusual to say the least) and he dumped me too.

Yeehah! :D
